Tour operators sri lanka - Therefore we decided to tour Sri Lanka, but how to start and how much would it cost. We wanted to make our budget benefit us and obtain us through the six weeks we planned to remain.

We had two tours planned and also the remaining portion of the time we'd be in Colombo and soak up the culture.

What a disaster.

We did everything on line. We knew how much we wished to devote to meals and accommodation therefore we got on the web, reviewed the places and made our booking. For both tours.

Obviously we booked ourselves an automobile and driver as well for both these tours, also online.

Therefore we arrived together our first stint in Colombo and also the day of our first tour arrived. Our driver and vehicle arrived. So we set off. The driving experience is a thing else altogether. NEVER try to drive yourself in Sri Lanka - we were warned hence we'd a car and driver.

Tour operators sri lanka - I can remember driving up to our first accommodation - the looks on our faces dropped. The wife was devastated and our developed daughters were not going to be comfortable. I swear it was a brothel or employed for those purposes also. Such a disaster.

And thats when the tour changed for us and also the magic started.

Our tour guide/driver came to the rescue. He saw and understood the apprehension in us and immediately ordered an inspection with the hotel. We told him i was unsatisfied and the man went and spoke to the hotelier and sorted it out. Booking canceled. Then he took us to many other accommodation sites for inspection. All 3 and 4 star. Very suitable and also to western standards and all in your price range. We simply picked the accommodation we were happy with.

And this became the pattern for the remainder of the tour.

He took us on Safari, found us safari drivers, wonderful local eateries, quality resorts and accommodation, he went looking for and discovered incredible little shops and brought a genuine local flavour to your tour. History, culture, people, places, cuisine and the rest.

His time effort, meals, accommodation, diligent humble insightful want to us was all part of the sale and included in the price. Incredible!

Tour operators sri lanka - On return from our first tour we cancelled everthing for your second tour and planned the next tour with him. Tea country, worlds end, elephant safari, elephant rides, shopping, Yala jungle preserve and also on and on...

Oh and lest I forget, we booked a second trip to Sri Lanka and asked him to exercise the tour which included the Kandy Perehara. Among the worlds most spectacular events as well as we had been treated to the best seats inside the parade.
