Sheldon Patnett - Many think they know that an architect designs buildings and structures then produces instruments of practice to make the buildings and structures he designs a real possibility. That is not too far from an idea as architects draw and make in three dimensions when they are designing. They are able to do this because they are trained in design, structural systems, site analysis, environmental analysis, in addition to some geology and soils education as well as other elements that are connected to his skill set which can include other items but not limited to psychology, economics and sociology.

The architect also offers skill levels that are connected to the knowledge of existing codes and by laws of the state by which he practices enabling the architect to tell apart himself from other professionals in the building industries. His training is quite intense right from the university for the apprenticeship he has to finish for a total of eight years minimum so that you can qualify to just consider the state licensing exam containing nine exams eventually count. What an architect does is extremely tedious work which encompasses many disciplines and coordinates all of them together to bring about the style he has envisioned for himself and his awesome clients.

Sheldon Patnett - All design is a process beginning with a thought which at the preliminary design phase starts the procedure moving forward, after which once approved is further put together by the design development phase even while the architect is envisioning along with his mind's eye a 3 dimensional part of the structure he is building around the creative level. He's taught and trained to develop these processes on the university which together with some talent and incredibly hard work, graduates to the next level which is apprenticeship with another licensed architect or architectural firm where he works best for at least three years.

Architects draw plans, diagrams, schematics as well as other drawing skills that represent your building design he is envisioning for some individuals to build. These instruments of practice are called construction documents and so are systematically prepared and organized for other professionals to use in the building of the project that is being created for a client.

It takes great care and skill to style and create a structure and designers are trained accordingly to do these disciplines to bring the design to fruition as earlier mentioned. Architects also coordinate and manage construction projects but they may have not ever designed the building they are working on. Another discipline architects do is forensic architecture which is where they investigate building failures in earthquakes as well as other emergencies that happen all over the world. Analysis is given and set forth to the authorities having jurisdiction over the areas that have been deemed a catastrophe or another such occurrences.

Sheldon Patnett - As one can see, architects provide a variety of services very important and that is public safety. This is the number one thing that architects shoot for and is required in not able to the world that increasingly becomes more diverse and complex.
