Rock of Ages Movies Watch
Is Rock of Ages timeless or merely tired? Maybe both. Which consists of stellar cast and equally great performances, you'd think all are going to be well. Selecting wrong. First, the favorable: Tom Cruise fans, rejoice -- Cruise is terrific as Stacee Jaxx. These terrific actors are just supporting players within the admittedly talented but syrupy real stars in this particular movie. Julianne Hough is her ever-adorable self which hurts when we're instructed to suspend disbelief and visualize that she briefly develops into a stripper (I could not). Equally cute Diego Boneta, who also displays a good voice (from the The americanidol show style of way) is well cast ever since the boy Juilanne would definitely enticed by on-screen. Obviously, the experience that the film relies has enjoyed international success on stage. So perhaps it is simply me being too old to "get it."
